Today there are numerous green juice products available on the market. To select a "true" one from among these, it is important to identify whether the green juice is produced by extracting from fresh green plants without destroying their nutrients, for example, the differences in the manufacturing process.
The young barley grass is grown by contract farmers in natures' bounty in the Kunisaki peninsula of Oita, Japan. The contract farmers devote their lives and passion to grow the ultimate barley grass. No pesticides or herbicides are used from soil preparation to harvest.
The product is made from the carefully selected young leaves of barley, Akashinriki, which are thicker, taller and softer containing high amounts of vitamins, minerals, flavonoids, and active enzymes.
Freshly harvested barley are immediately brought to a factory. After being repeatedly washed, the juice is gently squeezed and powdered without using a high heat. This special technique, what we call the Active-Preservation Method, ensures that the nutrients remain intact and improves the shelf life.
The green juice product introduced here was first marketed in 1969 and it was the first green juice powder made from young barley grass to be produced in Japan. Since its initial launch, it remains a long-selling product for its superior quality and safety, positioning itself apart from the rest in the market. It has now been loved by people in 38 countries worldwide who enjoy their healthy lives.
